Honda had unveiled the X-ADV in November last year. The Japanese manufacturer had then launched the X-ADV in a few Southeast Asian countries. In Malaysia, it's priced at RM 67,799 which converts to Rs 12.16 lakh. While the chances of the X-ADV entering the Indian market are pretty slim, here we bring you the complete details of the maxi-scooter.
Engine
The X-ADV is powered by a twin-cylinder liquid-cooled eight-valve 745cc SOHC unit that churns out 57.8bhp at 6,750rpm and 69Nm at 4,750rpm. The maxi-scooter uses a six-speed DCT unit to transmit this power and torque to its wheels.
Design
The X-ADV is a sharp and muscular looking maxi-scooter. It gets a five-step adjustable windscreen, knuckle guards, sharp side profile, chunky exhaust and footpegs placed in a streamlined fashion. The maxi-scooter also gets a 13.2-litre fuel tank capacity and 22-litre under-seat storage space.
Features
The X-ADV comes with features like throttle by wire, five riding modes, a voice control system and a fully digital instrument cluster. It uses LEDs on both ends of the maxi-scooter.
Hardware
The suspension duty on the X-ADV is carried out by 41mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock damper at the rear. For better stopping power it employs a dual disc at the front and a single disc at the rear assisted by dual-channel ABS. The maxi-scooter is equipped with a 17-inch wheel at the front and a 15-inch wheel at the rear.
Colours
The X-ADV is offered in three different colour options: Pearl Deep Mud Gray, Graphite Black and Grand Prix Red.
