Honda's electric scooter, the Benly e was recently spotted testing. The test was conducted by the Automotive Research Association Of India (ARAI). The electric scooter was unveiled at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019. The range had a total of four models namely Benly e I, Benly e I Pro, Benly e II and Benly e II Pro.
Honda's Benly e is a simple-looking electric scooter. It comes with features like a hexagonal-shaped LED headlight, a fully digital instrument cluster, front basket provision and mobile charging socket.
The Honda Mobile Power Pack that consists of a Lithium-ion battery is used to power an EF07M AC synchronous motor that churns out 3.75bhp at 3,000rpm and 13Nm at 2,000rpm. The Benly e I and Benly e I Pro comes with a range of 87km per charge. While the Benly e II and Benly e II Pro comes with a range of 43km per charge.
The Benly e is only available in a Ross White colour option in the Japanese market. The electric scooter is already on sale in Japan where it is used for food deliveries. If the company plans to launch it in the Indian market, they might offer it for commercial purposes.
