- 2022 Honda Super Cub revealed
- Gets more rugged than before
- Will not be sold in India
The Honda Super Cub is not only the Japanese manufacturer’s highest sold scooter but also the world’s highest sold vehicle with over 100 million units sold since 1958. And since it remains in popular demand in Japan, Honda has updated the Super Cub 110 Pro for 2022.
Amongst the other Honda Super Cub variants, the 110 Pro is the most rugged and specifically designed for the purpose. The 2022 model builds up on that. It rides on 14-inch cast aluminium wheels with tubeless tyres and comes equipped with ABS and a front disc too. While the exteriors may hark back to past decades, Honda has updated the Super Cub 110 Pro with an LCD instrument cluster that shows the gear position, clock, average fuel consumption as well as range meter.
That said, the most interesting part of the Super Cub 110 is probably the built-in basket that makes it a much more practical scooter than before and is suited perfectly for the audience it targets. The headlight is fitted at the front of the basket so as to not obstruct it when it is fully loaded. It even gets a carrier at the rear of the single-seat for added convenience.
Now, the 2022 Honda Super Cub 110 Pro will make its way to Japanese showrooms in May. However, it will not be launched here since India does not have a market for scooters like these. Instead, the masses do seem to trust the Honda Activa 6G that continues to be the highest selling scooter in our country.
