- Kavin Quintal to represent India at 2022 IDEMITSU Asia Talent Cup

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced that its Chennai-based rider Kavin Quintal will be representing India at the 2022 IDEMITSU Asia Talent Cup (IATC).
Honda had shortlisted six of its young riders for the Asia Talent Cup selection process and Kavin is the one to get through. He was taken onboard through IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Hunt in 2019 and later went on to win the NSF250R race category in 2021. The 16-year-old started racing professionally in 2017 with the Stock 165cc category of the national championship. He has been racing on the Moto3 machine – the NSF250R over the last three years. After securing the runner-up position in 2019 and 2020, the young racer won the NSF category in 2021.
At the 2022 IDEMITSU Asia Talent Cup, Kavin Quintal will be competing against 19 other Asian riders. The ATC will be a six-round, 12-race competition that will be held at different circuits including Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Twin Ring Motegi, Chang International Circuit, and the Sepang International Circuit.
