- Honda NX400 gets new features
- Equipped with traction control system
- Bluetooth-enabled TFT screen also incorporated
Honda has refreshed its product portfolio in Japan by updating its small-size adventure tourer, the NX400, for 2024. The motorcycle gets additional features now while mechanically remaining unchanged.
The 2024 NX400 is equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control which is Honda’s term for traction control. It is meant to make the bike safer to ride in slippery situations, especially for novice riders. Furthermore, the adventure tourer has received a new five-inch colour TFT screen which can be connected to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth for accessing calls, messages, music, and navigation.
On the design front, the NX400 continues to boast a tall and upright stance which is identical to the new NX500. The tall windscreen, knuckle guards, high ground clearance, and a spacious single-piece seat lend it a purposeful design. Adding to its adventure credentials is a 19-17-inch alloy combination and a long-travel suspension setup comprising Showa USD forks and a monoshock. The bike is powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine that churns out 45.4bhp and 38Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The Honda NX400 is available in two colours in Japan – Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White with prices starting from 8,91,000 Yen (approximately Rs. 4.93 lakh).
