- Honda Rebel 500 updated for 2024
- Gets new colour options
- No word about the India launch
Honda has taken the wraps of its 2024 motorcycle line-up in international markets. The updated range also includes the Rebel 500 or the CMX500 Rebel, as it is officially called.
The cruiser-style motorcycle goes up against the Royal Enfield Interceptor and Super Meteor 650 globally, but is yet to make its debut in India. Well, that said, the Honda Rebel 500 is updated with new colour options for 2024. It comes with Seal Silver Metallic and Matte Laurel Green Metallic. On the other hand, the higher-spec Rebel S is offered in Pearl Shining Black that comes fitted with a headlamp cowl, black fork gaiters and a diamond-stitched saddle to set it apart.
Powering the Rebel 500 is a 471cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The list of features on the cruiser includes full-LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS. The hardware on this cruiser motorcycle comprises a tubular steel frame, telescopic front forks, twin rear shocks, and single disc brakes on both wheels.
While the Rebel 500 is an interesting motorcycle, there is no word about when the motorcycle will make its debut in India. We expect Honda to launch the motorcycle in the country when it is able to price it competitively.
