Receives changes to comply with Euro5+ norms
Traction control system updated
Cycle parts remain unchanged
Swedish motorcycle manufacturer, Husqvarna has updated its adventure tourer offering, the Norden 901 Expedition for 2025 in the international markets. The motorcycle has received internal tweaks in the engine to comply with the new Euro5+ emission norms, besides other minor changes to make the overall package slightly more compelling.
The 2025 Husqvarna 901 Expedition comes equipped with new rear-view mirrors for better visibility, an updated traction control system, a hazard light warning system, and a USB-C port. Furthermore, Husqvarna has also tweaked the exhaust system of the bike for meeting the updated emission norms while helping the motorcycle breathe more freely and prevent the performance from getting affected severely. Completing the list of changes is a new set of graphics for the motorcycle to lend it a fresh visual appeal.
The rest of the aspects of the Husqvarna Norden 901 remain the same as before. Powering the bike is an 899cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine which also does duty on its Austrian cousin, the KTM 890 Adventure. This powerplant produces 105bhp and 100Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Based on a chromium molybdenum chassis, the Norden rides on spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. The suspension setup comprises a WP Xplor fully adjustable setup at both ends while the braking system includes dual discs up front and a single rotor at the rear. It also gets Bosch 9.1MP ABS with cornering functionality.
