Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husqvarna has issued a press release stating that the 2014 EICMA motorcycle show will uncover three new products. The EICMA Motorcycle Show will be held next month in Italy.
According to rumours Husqvarna will showcase a new high displacement street bike which could be a production ready version of the "701 Prototype, showcased at the EICMA last year. It might feature the same single-cylinder engine as the KTM 690 Duke tuned for more power. The new motorcycle is also expected to use the same trellis frame like on the 690 Duke.
Apart from this launch, it is speculated that the other two motorcycles might be concepts. The details are scarce about the two concept machines, but expect them to pave the way for future models.
Husqvarna is a little known brand in India, to put more light, they are owned by KTM now. Husqvarna will be launched in India by 2015 as announced by KTM and the motorcycles will be locally assembled at the plant in Pune.
