- New Husqvarna concept unveiled
- Gets carbon fibre components
- Equipped with a unique rear disc brake
It looks like Husqvarna is also going the KTM way – developing a hardcore version of an already fast bike. The Vitpilen 801 Aero concept has been unveiled in Europe.
From the pictures, it is clear that this street bike is likely to be faster, more powerful and also quite loaded. A lot of stock components have been made way for some custom ones including the wheels and the paint scheme. The brand has dipped the bike in carbon fibre elements to bring the overall kerb weight down. The exhaust system is new and is likely to bring in performance upgrades.
In the braking department too, the bike shines as it now gets a Brembo GP4 unit which is known to offer top-class performance. The rear brake has a unique disc plate that is usually seen on racing cycles to cut down the drag.
As of now, there aren’t many details about this engine, but it looks like it’s the same 799cc parallel-twin motor seen on the standard variant and also on the KTM Duke 790. This motor is known for its excellent low and mid-range.
Husqvarna is likely to showcase the production variant of this model sometime next year, with the official sale commencing in early 2026.
