Hyosung has launched a special edition Aquila 250 for the Indian market. Produced in a limited run of just 100 units, this Aquila 250 is available in three new paint schemes.
While the styling isn't any different, the Aquila 250 special edition is offered in matte green, carbon black and desert brown paint schemes. It gets all traditional styling cues like a sweptback handlebar, chrome twin-pipe exhaust and alloy wheels and a low-slung stance. Under the skin is a 249cc oil-cooled V-twin engine, delivering 26bhp and 21Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox.
This is the first sign of activity from Hyosung after a long period of dormancy. The 2015 EICMA show brought the promise of several new models, though there have been no indications of a launch anytime soon. This Aquila 250 is also available with zero per cent interest finance schemes. Though there aren't any cruisers in the price bracket, you can opt for streetfighters like the Kawasaki Z250 and the Benelli TNT 300.
