Hyosung is all set to unveil three new motorcycles at the upcoming 2015 EICMA. This news was confirmed by the company’s UK distributor.
As per the distributor, the Korean motorcycle manufacturer will unveil a new version of the GT650R and GT250R. Both the bikes got their last major change two years ago and this new update is expected to be more than just a facelift. The third motorcycle in question is the GD125R which will be liquid-cooled and will replace the air-cooled GT125R. Also, a 400cc of the GD250R is also being planned that will take on the KTM RC390. However, the time frame for the launch of this motorcycle is not yet known.
Hyosung plans to go aggressive with their product strategy in 2016 and that’s why we will see a major change in the entire portfolio. If everything goes as planned, then we might also see a 300cc version of the GV250 cruiser. We are expecting some of these products to make its way to India as a completely-knocked-down (CKD) unit. However, DSK MotoWheels, the company responsible for selling the Hyosung motorcycles in India also sells the famous Benelli range of bikes in the country.
