A group of design students from DSK International school design, the same company that sells the Hyosung motorcycles, has digitally rendered the ST7 Cruiser Concept which looks very mean.
Looking at the picture, we can clearly say the overall design cues have been inspired from the Ducati Diavel. This design language is something new for the Hyosung but we are sure that the students was asked to use all his imagination to create a great design and we appreciate their efforts.
The aggressive lines across the body, low seat height, massive fuel tank make it look like nothing on the road. The swingarm and the exhaust design doesn’t look very practical but if there is a product model planned for next few years, then the company should rework it.
The ST7 is currently powered by a 678cc liquid-cooled engine that churns out 58bhp at 8,000rpm and 57Nm of maximum torque. With such a massive engine and its weight, the power won’t excite the developed market. Either the company should get a new engine if it plans to take it to production which is highly unlikely or find a way to lose weight but retain the design. Hello Carbon Fibre!
