DSK Hyosung might exhibit the RT 125 D at the Delhi Auto Expo scheduled for next month. The company wants to check the response of the Indian customer for the motorcycle. If they find it good enough they might launch it in India in the near future.
The RT 125 D is powered by a 124cc single cylinder air cooled engine that produces 13.5bhp of power. This power output is greater than any of the motorcycles presently available in the 125cc segment in India. This engine is housed around a cradle type frame. The RT 125 D has offset telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. The design of the bike is more inclined towards making the ride comfortable enough for the Indian road conditions. The motorcycle will go up against the Hero Impulse if launched in India.
This is not the first time that Hyosung is considering to bring the RT 125 D to our country. They were planning to do the same when the company was associated with Garware. But the plans did not formalise as the partnership didn’t last for long and the association ended only to be clubbed with DSK. Now with the help of DSK, Hyosung will showcase the motorcycle at the Auto Expo, initiate a customer clinic and then check for pricing and positioning.
