Honda has kicked off the ‘Idemitsu Honda Talent Hunt’ in Bengaluru receiving 33 entries. The talent hunt will also be conducted in 9 other cities across India namely- Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Aizwal (Mizoram), Delhi, Bhopal, Vadodara, Pune and Coimbatore.
Participants aging from 13-18 can register from which 20 riders will be shortlisted. The evaluation will see participants going through various activities to judge their physical stamina along with a riding test and an interview session for aptitude analysis. These candidates will be trained at the Honda Ten10 Racing Academy and compete in the CBR 150R Novice category in the Honda Talent Cup 2018 to be held at MMRT, Chennai.
The Idemitsu Honda Talent hunt is part of the manufacturer’s aim to promote motorsports in India and to groom young riders to enter national and international racing like the Moto3 championship. Honda will announce the finalists once the selections are concluded in all cities around September.
