- 2024 Suzuki GSX-8S unveiled
- Gets new colours
- Likely to be launched in India next year
Suzuki has taken the wraps off the 2024 GSX-8S for international markets. And the reason this should be interesting to you is because the motorcycle is likely to be launched in India sometime next year.
So what does it get for the new model year? The Suzuki GSX-8S is now adorned with new paint schemes. It is offered in a new Glass Matte Mechanical Gray paint scheme that combines black with grey on the bodywork. It also comes with matte grey wheels to complete the look. In addition to this, the GSX-8S is also offered in a black paint option with blue wheels and a blue sub-frame. International customers can also choose from the previously available Pearl Cosmic Blue colour option.
Powering the Suzuki GSX-8S is a 776cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 81.7bhp and 77.6Nm. This power output puts it in direct contention with the Yamaha MT-07 and Kawasaki Z650 as well as the KTM 790 Duke and Triumph Street Triple. When it comes to features, the Suzuki comes with ride-by-wire, traction control and ride modes. It also gets a two-way quickshifter, low RPM assist, full-LED lighting and a five-inch TFT display.
Now, styling on the GSX-8S is radical and includes a stacked LED headlamp, sharp tank shrouds and a muscular fuel tank. It also comes with an aluminum swingarm with an exposed frame and sub-frame. With everything said, the GSX-8S does look like an interesting motorcycle and we can expect Suzuki to bring it to India with an expected price of around Rs 7.5 to 8 lakh, ex-showroom.
