- CFMoto 300SR launched in the Philippines
- Gets 292cc, single-cylinder engine
- Likely to be launched in India by 2021
CFMoto has launched the 300SR in Philippines for PhP 165,000 which is equivalent to Rs 2.54 lakh. It is to be exported to Philippines from China.
The full-faired 300SR is based on the 300NK which was launched in India last year. It sports an aggressive design that includes twin, full-LED headlamps with LED DRLs, clip-on handlebars, a muscular fuel tank, and a sporty, split setup for the tail section. And to attract customers, CFMoto Philippines is offering the bike with accessories like adjustable clutch and brake levers as well as adjustable rear sets. The list also includes fuel filler caps and crash protection.
Powering the CFMoto 300SR is a 292cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 28.7bhp at 8,750rpm and 25.3Nm of at 7,250rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission with slipper clutch function. As for features, the CFMoto 300SR is equipped with a full-colour TFT display with two display layouts. Braking is done by discs at both ends while suspension duties are taken care of by 37mm forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.
CFMoto introduced a healthy line-up in India last year that included 300cc and 650cc motorcycles. However, the company is yet to launch the BS6-compliant version of those motorcycles. There isn’t any official confirmation about the Indian launch of the 300SR yet but if it does arrive in the country, we can expect it to be sometime in 2021.
