- BigRock’s Matt Moss wins in the 450cc category
- Both, Indian and international riders compete
- Last round is to be held in Delhi on Feb 25, 2024
After securing a win in Round One of the Indian Supercross Racing League, BigRock Motorsports has bagged yet another victory in the Round Two in Ahmedabad. The races were held at the EKA Arena with an electrifying response from the crowd to the newly-introduced sport.
BigRock Motorsport teammates, Matt Moss and Reid Taylor, won the 450cc Moto 2 International and the 250cc International races, respectively. Both the riders displayed a spectacular nail-biting race and scored points over the competitors in their classes. Moss recorded the fastest lap, at 37.320 seconds on his Kawasaki KX450S. Meanwhile, his teammate Reid Taylor managed a timing of 36.958 seconds in the Moto 2 race for the 250cc International Class on his Kawasaki KX250.
Similar to round one, Matt clinched the victory over Jordi Tixier in Round Two, in an intense battle through the laps. The two riders kept crashing throughout the day, but that didn’t stop either from gunning for the fastest lap times and in turn, crossing the checkered flag first.
As of now, Reid Taylor is leading the 250cc International category at 40 points with the second position secured by arch rival Julien Lebeau who holds 34 points. Another highlight for the 250cc champion is his performance at the All-Stars race where he scored the second position on his Kawasaki KX250 against other 250cc and 450cc bikes as well. Jordi Tixier led the All-Stars Main Race with a fastest time of 36.743 seconds on his Honda CRF450R.
The next and Final race of the Indian Supercross Racing League Season 1 is slated for February 25 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.
