- New spy images show the instrument cluster
- Motorcycle looks near production ready
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
The India-spec BSA Gold Star has been sighted once again and the retro-style motorcycle appears to be near production ready now.
The test mule of the motorcycle was spotted up close, and the newest spy images give a glimpse at the instrument cluster of the vehicle. The BSA Gold Star will feature a twin-pod instrument cluster with a semi-digital layout. The left side will include an analogue speedometer along with an LCD to display the odometer. The right side of the console, on the other hand, will feature a tachometer and a digital fuel gauge. All the telltale indicators sit in between the two dials.
The styling cues include a retro design complemented by chrome treated front and rear fenders, a headlight bezel, and rear-view mirror housings. The mechanical specifications will include a 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed, this motor is tuned to deliver 45bhp and 55Nm of peak torque. The hardware on the motorcycle comprises telescopic front forks, twin rear springs, single discs on both ends, and wire-spoke wheels.
The Indian launch details for the BSA Gold Star are not available yet. However, we expect to see this motorcycle in our market by early- to mid-2023.
