- Likely to debut with M502N street bike
- The portfolio might be expanded at a later stage
Adishwar Auto Ride India group is all set to announce the India entry of a new Italian two-wheeler brand, MBP, at the Auto Expo 2023. Notably, this will be the sixth brand to be introduced by the Adishwar group in India after Benelli, Keeway, Zontes, Moto Morini, and QJ Motor.
MBP, which stands for Moto Bologna Passione, is a brand of Italian origin but it’s now based in China. While it has a bunch of offerings in its portfolio abroad, the company’s India debut will mostly take place with the M502N naked street bike. And similar to its sister brands in India, we foresee more interesting products coming to our shores at a later stage.
The M502N is powered by a 47bhp, 500cc, twin-cylinder engine and gets premium cycle parts like a KYB suspension setup, J.Juan brakes, and Pirelli Angel GT tyres. The list of features includes full-LED lighting, a 4.2-inch colour TFT display, and dual-channel ABS. Moreover, the motorcycle is appealing on the visual front with an aggressive stance comprising a low-slung headlamp, a sculpted tank with beefy extensions, and a sharp upswept tail section.
Apart from debuting MBP in India, Adishwar group will also have a host of other offerings on display at the Auto Expo. The company intends to gauge the response of viewers to decide whether to launch these models in India.
