- Kabira Mobility to launch two new electric bikes on 15 February
- These bikes have a claimed top speed of around 120kmph
- Will be competing against the Revolt RV 400 and RV 300
Kabira Mobility, a Goa-based electric two-wheeler start up, is all set to launch two new electric bikes – the KM3000 and the KM4000, on 15 February in India. While the former is a fully faired model, the latter is a naked electric bike.
The styling of both bikes closely resembles certain petrol-powered motorcycles. But their specifications and performance numbers are something worth noting. Powering these bikes is a common DeltaEV BLDC hub-mounted electric motor which can propel them to a maximum speed of around 120kmph. The claimed full-battery range is also impressive up to 150km. To make the ownership of these electric bikes easier, Kabira will also be offering roadside assistance (RSA).
Kabira Mobility was founded in 2017 in Goa and these products took two years to be developed. At present, the company has six slow-speed electric scooters in its portfolio. These were launched at the 2020 Auto Expo in Delhi. Now, looking at the overall package that the KM3000 and KM4000 are on paper, they will be competing against the Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 in the electric motorcycle segment in India.
