Kawasaki India has updated its portfolio with the launch of KX series motocross motorcycles. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer recently announced the launch of the KX65 and KX112 in our market. The KX65 has been priced at Rs. 3,12,000, while the KX112 is available at Rs. 4,87,800.
Both dirt bikes are designed for track use only. Thus, they miss out on bits such as a headlight, taillight, turn indicators, and rear-view mirrors. Meanwhile, they pack styling elements such as a tall-set front fender, an upswept tail panel, minimalistic body panels, and wire-spoke wheels that are shod in tube-type tyres. Notably, both motorcycles are available in a single paint theme – Lime Green. The KX65 is designed for young riders, and thus, it boasts a low 29.9-inch seat height.
Then, the mechanical specifications on both motorcycles comprise two-stroke engines. The KX65 is powered by a 64cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Meanwhile, the KX112 uses a 112cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The hardware on the former comprises telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels. The latter, on the other hand, uses upside-down telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both ends.
Apart from the KX65 and KX112, Kawasaki India has also announced the launch of the KLX 230R S in our market.
