Previously, Kawasaki Indonesia had postponed the launch of the new Ninja ZX-25R due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The company, however, has set a new launch date for the motorcycle in the Indonesian market. Kawasaki Indonesia recently posted a video on its YouTube channel that confirmed that the new, inline four-cylinder powered quarter-litre Ninja will be launched on 10 July.
The company will broadcast the digital launch on its YouTube channel. Apart from Indonesia, Kawasaki will also offer the Ninja ZX-25R in Japan and New Zealand. Kawasaki New Zealand has already commenced the pre-orders for the Ninja ZX-25R, and the deliveries in the country are scheduled to start in December 2020. The motorcycle will be priced at 15,990 New Zealand dollars (excluding the ORC).
The Japanese two-wheeler brand is yet to reveal the complete technical specifications, although a dyno test confirmed that the inline four-cylinder engine will deliver 41.4bhp of peak power at 15,350rpm and 20.8Nm of maximum torque at 12,700rpm. The figures mentioned above are from the wheel.
The feature list comprises of Showa SFF Big Piston USD adjustable forks, horizontal backlink adjustable rear suspension, ABS, power modes, traction control system and a quick shifter. The motorcycle will most likely be available in two colour options – green with KRT graphics and black.
