Following the Indonesian launch, Kawasaki has introduced its newest product, the Ninja ZX-25R in the Japanese market. The motorcycle, similar to the Indonesian market, is available in two variants in Japan. The standard model has been priced at 825,000 yen while the Special Edition (SE) is available for 913,000 yen.
The motorcycle is available in three colours. The standard bike is available in Metallic Spark Black. The special edition, on the other hand, is available in Metallic Spark Black/Pearl Flat Stardust White and Lime Green/Ebony with KRT graphics. Other features include full-LED headlight, semi-digital instrument cluster and split-seats.
The Japan-spec Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R makes slightly lower power and torque output the Indonesian model. The 249cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine on the Japan-spec model produces 44.2bhp (45.6bhp with RAM Air) of power at 15,500rpm and 21Nm of torque at 13,000rpm. In comparison, the Indonesia-spec Ninja ZX-25R makes 49.3bhp (50.3bhp with RAM Air) at 15,500rpm and 22.9Nm at 14,500rpm.
The SE variants get a smoked windshield, frame slider, USB power socket, quick-shifter and rim-tapes as standard. All the accessories are available as optional extras for the standard variant.
