- Gets a new exhaust system
- Packs more features too
- Powered by a 250cc inline four-cylinder engine
Kawasaki has introduced the Ninja ZX-25R SE in Thailand. The Japanese quarter-litre supersport has received some mechanical and feature updates for its latest iteration and here’s what the updated package comprises now.
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R SE gets a sporty design hinting at its track-ready purpose. The bike’s fascia consists of a split LED headlight similar to the other models in the Ninja family. However, Kawasaki has now equipped the SE trim with a new TFT screen and LED indicators. The updated console gets smartphone connectivity, allowing riders to pair their phone with the dash using the Kawasaki Rideology app.
Further, the ZX-25R SE also benefits from a new suspension setup and a redesigned exhaust system for lower emissions. It continues to house the same 250cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with the output rated at 50bhp and 22.9Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes sans a quickshifter. It also features traction control, power mode, and dual-channel ABS.
With an asking price of TBH 2,99,000 (approximately Rs 6.48 lakh sans taxes), the Ninja ZX-25R SE is quite an expensive offering. Moreover, considering the Indian market is price sensitive, the Ninja ZX-25R SE’s price tag is tough to justify here. So, its unlikely to be launched here anytime soon.
