Kawasaki UK has announced that the 2013 Ninja 300 will cost 4799 pounds sterling (Rs 4.14 lakh). Its ABS equipped twin will retail for 5199 pounds sterling (4.48 lakh). The new bike will replace the Ninja 250R and costs additional 150 pounds sterling.
The Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc engine which produces 38bhp and 27Nm of torque. The bike will also get dual throttle-body fuel injection and new suspension setting along with a 140 section rear tyre for better handling. The optional extras list includes a slipper clutch and ABS.
Bajaj is likely to phase out the 250R in favour of the 300 by June of next year. The Ninja 250R retails Rs 3.17 lakh and we can expect the 300 to cost Rs 50,000 more.
