- Made for kids
- Gets three riding modes
Kawasaki has just unveiled their new electric bike. This e-bike is called Elektrode and has been designed and developed for kids aged between 3 and 8 years.
The Japanese brand has given this e-bike a lot of features and tech that does make it look cool and fun at the same time. The bike is built around an aluminium chassis that also houses a lithium-ion battery. This battery will last for over 150 minutes and has a decent charging time.
The Elektrode gets a 250W brushless electric motor that is placed on the rear wheel. This motor can be used using three riding modes – high, mid and low. Each of these modes has a limited top speed. Interestingly, the bike also comes with a parental lock – in case the parents want to keep the bike away from the kid.
The Elektrode weighs just 14.5kgs which makes it extremely light. It is priced around Rs 85,000 in the US and comes only in lime green.
