Kawasaki has launched a new version of the Z650, called the Z650 Performance. Featuring a slew of visual upgrades and an Akrapovic end can, the Z650 Performance is priced at GBP 6,999 (Rs 6.08 lakhs).
The Z650 Performance is similar to the accessorised version of the Z900 that is sold in India. The visual upgrades on the bike include a meter cover above the headlamp, pillion seat cover, a colour-coordinated seat and tank pad. The 649cc parallel-twin engine breathes out through an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system. The output has remained unchanged at 67bhp and 65Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.
All the upgrades on the Z650 Performance make it GBP 700 (Rs 60,866) pricier than the standard bike. It is available in three paint schemes - white, black and titanium. Kawasaki also offers other optional accessories like frame sliders, radiator cover, tank bag, panniers and a top case for the Z650. While the Z650 Performance is not available in India, Kawasaki dealers can procure these accessories individually from Europe.
