CFMoto has launched its new middleweight streetfighter offering, the 800NK in China. It rivals the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster, and a few other models in the segment. Here’s what we know about it.
The CFMoto 800NK gets a very distinct fascia. It houses a projector LED headlight with an LED DRL that forms a brow-like structure. The butch styling is complemented well by the fuel tank, shrouds, and upswept exhaust setup. Even the silver with black paint scheme with red accents suits the naked bike’s styling.
Powering the new Chinese offering is a 799cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with an output rated at 99.2bhp and 81Nm. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox and CFMoto claims the 800NK can clock a top speed of about 220kmph. Meanwhile, the hardware comprises adjustable KYB front USD forks and a monoshock at the rear while the braking hardware comprises dual 320mm front discs and a single 260mm rear disc. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.
On the feature front, the CFMoto 800NK gets LED illumination, three riding modes (rain, street, and sport), a bi-directional quickshifter, keyless operation, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, traction control, and an eight-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity.
In China, the CFMoto 800NK is priced at CNY 49,980 (approximately Rs 5.87 lakh sans taxes). While that’s a very affordable price tag for an 800cc motorcycle, CFMoto is unlikely to launch it in India.
