Kinetic to launch electric Luna?

-         e-Luna rumoured to make a comeback 

-         Kinetic planning to launch it next year

It looks like the famous Luna brand is being revived and will be launched in an electric avatar. According to a report, Kinetic is planning to launch an electric Luna in India.   

For this new electric two-wheeler, it is rumoured that two companies are working on it. While Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions will launch the product, Kinetic Engineering Limited will assemble it. Notably, the company has already developed the product and is looking at launching it in the first quarter of next year. 

There are currently few details on the e-Luna, but the product is likely to be a moped and cater to a small section of the audience. While the brand Luna used to be quite famous a few decades ago, the product segment it belongs to is not an aspirational one. So, only time will tell if the product succeeds or the company needs to relook at its future strategies.
