- 2023 FB Mondial Piega 125 unveiled
- Gets new colours
- 124cc engine offers 14bhp
The popularity of 125cc ‘performance’ commuter motorcycles has increased in the past couple of year, especially in European countries where more youngsters chose to ride and the stringent A2 license system prevails. While the performance numbers of these motorcycles are nothing much to drool over, their styling sure is. One such example is the FB Mondial Piega 125 that has been updated for 2023.
A fitting rival to the KTM 125 Duke, the Piega 125 is adorned with new colour schemes for the new model year. First up is a dual-tone paint option that consists of blue, silver and black. This colour does exude a stealthy and futuristic appeal to the entry-level motorcycle. European customers can also choose the black and blue colour scheme or the black paint option that comes with a tasteful bronze touch to the frame and wheels.
Powering the Piega 125 is a 124cc, single that churns out a humble 14bhp but is on par with the KTM 125 Duke and the internationally available Yamaha MT125 as well. As for features, the motorcycle offers full-LED lighting, CBS and a premium-looking pair of gold upside down forks. It also comes with a colour TFT display as standard and for slightly more money, ABS too.
