Shortly after the KTM 1190 Super Adventure was spotted with an updated front end while testing. KTM'S 1290 Super Adventure has been spied under camouflage getting comparatively more updates including new styling.
Although heavily camouflaged, the masking tape disguise suggests it's got a new headlight unit, likely featuring horizontally-placed twin lights to replace the vertically stacked central ones of the existing model. The fairing has been altered, with a less pointy nose and repositioned air scoops. Spotlights are now housed in the fairing and have been raised and moved back slightly. The fairing has also become slightly wider to accommodate the spotlights. The KTM also seems to have got a new windscreen similar to the one on the spied 1190.
The motorcycle which was being tested in Spain, will also include technical changes to bring the bike to meet Euro 4 emission regulations for next year. For the 1290 to meet regulations, it could have a different state of tune which means the motorcycle could come with additional power.
