- Gets a new fascia
- Could be equipped with a radar unit
- Seems to be even more oriented towards touring
Last year, KTM launched the updated version of the 1290 Super Duke GT. And well, not so long after, the updated test mule has already been spotted.
At first glance, the 1290 Super Duke GT test mule seems to get an updated front end. The fascia has been redesigned and houses a radar system as well. Though polarizing, the updated model will carry the protruding LED headlight.
Furthermore, the fuel tank capacity can be bumped up to aid its touring purpose and the radiator too seems tweaked for better heat dissipation. KTM is likely to retain the motor as it currently is but with a minor tweak to extract even more power. It appears to be nestled in a new trellis frame. The latter can be done for better weight management.
All said and done, the aforementioned changes are likely to be made in a bid to make the 1290 Super Duke GT a better tourer. While it’s certainly not heading to India, we expect KTM to make some major announcements very soon.
