- Issue with wiring harness
KTM has recalled a total of 521 2020 Super Duke R motorcycles in US. This recall is related to the wiring harness issue.
According to the company, the wiring harness located in the rear of the motorcycle may be routed incorrectly which could result in wiring damage and an electrical short-circuit. The company will contact the affected customers and ask them to bring the bikes to the nearest service center.
KTM dealer will first inspect the bike and then fix the issue. They would also will modify the tail end lower part to correct the routing of the wiring harness and add wiring protection and cable ties. This activity will be performed free of charge.
