KTM and German luxury mobility brand, Brabus have joined hands once again to create another limited-edition motorcycle based on the Austrian brand’s flagship product, the 1290 Super Duke R. Christened as the Brabus 1300 R, this motorcycle will be limited to just 290 units worldwide. Here, we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2023 Brabus 1300 R.
For 2023, the Brabus 1300 R will be available in two paint options. The paint options include Super Black and Stealth Gray colour themes.
Production will be limited to 145 units for each colour variant.
Further, the motorcycle will get forged Brabus Monoblock Z wheels, carbon body elements, and a bespoke seat. The reupholstered seat features the Brabus “Crest” stitching pattern.
The Monoblock Z lightweight alloy wheels feature a nine-spoke design and gets a Platinum Black paint finish.
The motorcycle also features a distinctive headlight mask, an exposed-carbon side fairing, Brabus signature stripes in the air scoop, and redesigned side panels and air ducts. Then, the motorcycle also gets an all-new handlebar end mirror.
Underneath the design will be the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO. Since this motorcycle is based on the EVO variant of the Austrian roadster, it comes with WP APEX semi-active suspension technology. The semi-active suspension comes with six modes – Comfort, Street, Sport, Track, Advanced, and Auto.
The mechanical specifications retain the 1,301cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled motor from the standard motorcycle as well. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine produces a peak output of 177.5bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 140Nm at 8,000rpm.
The motorcycle features five riding modes (Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, and Track). It also gets a Brabus dual-pipe slip-on exhaust system.
The CNC-machined equipment includes a triple clamp, adjustable front brake and clutch lever, adjustable foot pegs, and reservoirs and oil tank caps.
