- CFMoto 1250NK to be launched soon
- Powered by 1279cc engine from KTM
- No word about its India launch timeline
Chinese manufacturer CFMoto has been in a partnership with KTM for close to a decade now, using the Austrian manufacturer’s performance prowess for its own models. Now, leaked design patents reveal that CFMoto has another big bike up its sleeve in the form of the 1250NK.
The CFMoto 1250NK will come powered by KTM’s 1279cc LC8 V-Twin engine that currently powers the Chinese brand’s grand tourer. This motor churns out 140 horses on that bike and is expected to put out higher numbers on the streetfighter.
In fact, the 1250NK will be similar in character to the KTM 1290 Super Duke R and come with a single-sided swingarm and a steel trellis frame. Besides these similarities, the CFMoto 1250NK is looking to forge its own identity, although it borrows styling cues from the rest of the NK range. While radical design elements are present, the design patents also reveal that the motorcycle will come with a vertical TFT dash and possibly top-tier tech wizardry.
That said, CFMoto is yet to unveil the 800NK motorcycle to the world so the 1250NK is expected to make its way only later. And while it would be available to international markets soon after, there is no word about it being launched in India as the company seems to have stopped operations here.
