Suzuki Motor Corporation has updated its international-spec, quarter-litre adventure-tourer motorcycle, the V-Strom 250. The latest iteration of this KTM 250 Adventure rival from Suzuki Motor Corporation is available in six dual-tone paint themes. The list includes Solid Dazzling Cool Yellow with Pearl Nebular Black, Metallic Diamond Red with Pearl Nebular Black, Pearl Nebular Black with Metallic Hightech Silver, Metallic Mat Flash Black with Pearl Nebular Black, Metallic Triton Blue with Pearl Nebular Black, and Pearl Macho Orange with Pearl Nebular Black.
The styling cues remain similar to the previous version, and the 2023 model retains a round headlight, a tall windscreen, semi-fairing with a beak-style front, a step-up saddle, and a side-slung exhaust. Notably, unlike the India-spec V-Strom SX, this quarter-litre model rides on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. These are shod in 110/80-section front and 140/70-section rear tubeless tyres. Other hardware on the 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 250 comprises telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes on both ends.
The mechanical specifications on the quarter-litre adventure-tourer comprise a 248cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is claimed to deliver a healthy low-to-mid range torque. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor delivers 24bhp at 8,000rpm and 22Nm at 6,500rpm. It comes equipped with a halogen headlight, DC outlet, ABS, and an LCD instrument cluster.
This model from Suzuki Motor Corporation is not likely to arrive in India. However, the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer currently offers the V-Storm SX in our market that competes in the quarter-litre segment and rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 250 Adventure.
