- Powered by a parallel-twin engine
- Features full-LED lighting, colour-TFT display
- India launch unlikely
Chinese two-wheeler maker, CFMoto, has unveiled its sub-500cc, parallel-twin-powered roadster motorcycle, the 450NK for the international markets. This motorcycle is based on the fully-faired 450SR motorcycle that is already available in several countries.
Similar to the fully-faired model, the CFMoto 450NK, too, will use a 449cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft that makes a maximum power output of 49.3bhp at 10,000rpm. Meanwhile, the feature list, similar to the 450SR, comprises full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display.
The styling cues comprise an aggressive front fascia with a projector-style headlight, a stylish front fender, radiator-shroud-mounted front turn indicators, fuel tank shrouds for a muscular look, and split-style seats. It also boasts a side-mounted exhaust with a brushed aluminium tip and heat shield and 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
The hardware is premium as well, and the 450NK packs KYB-sourced upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension duties. The braking setup comprises single discs on both ends along with J.Juan callipers and a dual-channel ABS.
The CFMoto 450NK is not likely to arrive in our market in the near future. However, it will rival the likes of the Yamaha MT-03, KTM 390 Duke and the BMW G 310 R in the international markets.
