- Is the last bike from the KTM-Brabus collaboration
- Powered by a 1,301cc LC8 engine
- Will be limited to just 50 units
KTM and Brabus have rolled the third and last model of the collaboration for the 1300 R Masterpiece Edition. Only 50 units of it will be built and are likely to be sold out very soon. The Austrian bikemaker and the German tuner have built the 1300 R based on the KTM 1290 Super Duke R.
On the design front, the 1300 R Masterpiece Edition sports a round LED headlight packed in carbon-fibre bodywork all around. There are oodles of carbon fibre all over. From the tank extensions to the fuel tank and side panels, the 1300 R seems a true work of art. It’s powered by a 1,301cc LC8 engine that makes 180bhp and 139Nm and gets a top speed of 270kmph. It’s linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The KTM Brabus 1300 R get the semi-active WP front forks, steering damper and a rear monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware consists of Brembo Sytlema mounted on forged wheels wrapped in Bridgestone S22 tyres. Other bits like a denser seat with quilted stitching and a wider handlebar with bar-end mirrors are also offered.
The 1300 R features a bi-directional quickshifter, a new in-house designed TFT, heated grips, cruise control, ride modes (Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, Track), ABS and more.
Brabus will offer the 1300 R Master Piece Edition in two colours: Onyx Black and Diamond White. 25 units of each option will be sold. The asking price for the KTM Brabus 1300 R Master Piece Edition is set at EUR 41,930 (approximately Rs. 36 lakh sans taxes).
