China-based two-wheeler manufacturer, Zongshen Motorcycles has announced the launch of the Cyclone RC 401 R in the Chinese market.
This KTM RC390-rivaling motorcycle comes with a full-fairing design along with modern styling and premium hardware. The styling cues, for example, comprise an aggressively designed twin-pod headlight, a muscular fuel tank, a split-style seat, a compact exhaust canister, and a single-sided swingarm.
Then, the mechanical specifications include a 401cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with four valves per cylinder. This engine is tuned to produce a maximum output of 45bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 35.2Nm at 8,000rpm. The motorcycle boasts a top speed of 150kmph.
It also packs premium hardware such as adjustable KYB-sourced suspension and J.Juan disc brakes, and Bosch ABS. The suspension setup includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking hardware comprises dual discs at the front and a single rotor at the back. The feature list includes LED lighting, backlit switchgear, adjustable levers, and a colour TFT display with connectivity options.
The Zongshen Cyclone RC 401 R is priced at 31,980 Yuan (Rs 3.81 lakh) in the Chinese market. Currently, it is available in China only, and it is highly unlikely to be launched in the Indian market.
