KTM to acquire 25.1% stake in MV Agusta

-         KTM acquires MV Agusta

-         25.1 per cent stake purchased by KTM

-         KTM will also provide supply chain support

In the latest developments, KTM has sealed the deal where it will acquire a 25.1 per cent stake in the Italian motorcycle maker – MV Agusta.

As a part of this deal, KTM will provide the Italian maker with supply chain support and also take over their purchasing. This support will be applicable for worldwide business and distribution. MV Agusta will also partly distribute its motorcycles through KTM’s distribution network.

Over the last few years, MV Agusta has changed many hands and hasn’t been able to find a sustainable business. But with this new KTM deal, the Italian maker is likely to transform its overall business scenes as KTM has managed to turn itself around. There’s still no information if both brands will share any motorcycle platforms. We can expect more details about that in the future
