- New KTM 890 Duke R, 890 Duke GP unveil this month
- GP could be the top-spec variant
- Won’t come to India
KTM is all set to strengthen its middleweight portfolio this month. The company will unveil two motorcycles – the 890 Duke R and the Duke GP.
According to a release sent by KTM, these two motorcycles are expected to cater to the growing needs of customers who wants great performance. There’s a teaser image as well that shows two track-ready 890 Dukes ready to be taken out.
The 890 Duke GP is likely to be a proper track performance motorcycle as the Austrian brand decided to use a Grand-Prix branding. This clearly suggests that the bike mostly likely will be the most powerful variant and could also be equipped with some top-spec electronics and cycle parts. The 890 Duke R on the other hand could be a road bike with track-bike like performance and attributes.
KTM will unveil the 890 Duke R on 7th February, whereas the top-spec 890 Duke GP will make its global debut on 22nd February. Unfortunately, neither of these bikes will come to India anytime soon.
