- New TFT screens revealed
- Super Duke, Super Adventure will get it first
- World debut at 2024 EICMA
KTM has unveiled a new range of instrument clusters that will soon be seen on its premium motorcycles.
The Austrian brand has unveiled two instrument clusters – V80, a vertical 8-inch one, and H88, a horizontal unit with an 8.8-inch screen size. These new clusters are based on the Android operating system and come with full colour and touchscreen features.
The V80 is placed vertically whereas the H88 is horizontally placed. From the pictures released by KTM, it looks like the V80 TFT screens will be seen on adventure and touring bikes whereas the H88 will be equipped on streetbikes.
The company claims that these TFT screens can be operated using gloves and are also anti-glare and anti-fingerprint in nature. These screens also get integrated shortcut buttons that can be used for fog lights, heated seats or heated grips. KTM will give a total of five screen customisation layouts which can be selected based on rider’s preferences. A few features like GPS navigation, adaptive cruise control and telemetry details of the bike will be shown on this display.
KTM is likely to unveil these new screens at the 2024 EICMA show and will be seen on bikes like the Super Duke and the Super Adventure.
