- Kymco Like 150 S scooter unveiled
- Powered by a 150cc engine
- India launch unlikely
Kymco has launched the Like 150 S scooter in the Australian market. The Like 150 S is based on the Like 150 R which the company already offers in the country. For the uninitiated, Kymco is a Taiwanese brand that has a sales network in 107 countries.
The Kymco Like 150 S gets a modern-retro design. The scooter comes with an air vent at the front, a rectangular-ish headlamp, circular mirrors, Like S badge on its sides, an edgy rear grab handle and a muffler cover. It also comes equipped with features like Bosch dual-channel ABS, all LED lights and a USB charging port. The scooter is only available in Orange colour option.
This scooter draws power from a 150cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Fi engine that churns out 13.27bhp. The ride of the scooter is taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable twin shock absorber at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 220mm disc on both ends.
The Like 150 S scooter is priced at AUD 4,490, which converts to Rs 2.46 lakh. The scooter also comes with a three-year factory warranty program. While the Taiwanese brand has launched the scooter in Australia, its chances of arrival in the Indian market are pretty bleak.
