- Lambretta unveils G325 scooter
- Built on monocoque chassis
- Likely to come to India next year
India strongly remembers the scooter brand Lambretta. And this is why the company has decided to reenter India market. Recently, the company unveiled a new scooter concept at EICMA 2019 and it goes by the name G325.
This new scooter is built on a monocoque chassis and gets its power from a petrol-powered engine. To make this scooter unique, it gets interchangeable side panels, something that we don’t see regular in scooters. The overall styling of this Lambretta resembles the older model, but gets some modern elements. It sports an angular headlamp unit and front mudguard along with some practical floorboard space.
The G325 scooter is equipped with a light on the floorboard, which gets activated whenever the rider comes close to the scooter. So there’s a smart fob key that comes with the scooter. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t revealed much specifications of this scooter at EICMA 2019.
We are expecting this scooter to make its way to India sometime next year. But expect it to be positioned as a premium scooter, just like the Vespa. So that means Rs 1 lakh plus price tag for this Lambretta.
