Lambretta has unveiled two new scooters, the G350 and the X300, for the international markets at the Milan Design Week 2022. Previously, we brought you all the details about the G350. Here we bring you the details about the X300.
Engine and performance
As the names suggest, the X300 gets a relatively smaller engine than the G350. Thus, this scooter uses a 275cc engine against the 330cc motor on the G350. Still, it makes a relatively healthy 25bhp and 24.5Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the G350 draws 27.5bhp and 27Nm from its 330cc engine.
Design
The styling cues on the X300 comprise a retro design that features a boxy shape. This is visible for the front fender, headlight, bodywork, and footboard. Other styling elements include a single-piece seat, compact pillion grab rail, side-slung exhaust, and alloy wheels.
Colours
Buyers can pick from the four colour choices available for this scooter – grey, black, red, and green. The black and green colours feature a black finish to the wheels while other paint themes use silver units. The dark theme on the green and black paint options is also visible on the rear-view mirrors, headlight mask, exhaust heat shield, around taillight, and the pillion grabrail. Surprisingly, all paint options use green colour for the seat cover.
Features
The retro-styling is complemented by modern features such as LED lighting and ABS. However, unlike the G350, the X300 uses a semi-digital display instead of a colour-TFT screen. But it benefits from keyless operations, a feature that is not available on the G350.
