Aprilia has unveiled another of its special edition models a while after it last took the veils off the RSV4 X Trenta. While this one too is an RSV4, is the X EX3MA and is an ultra-exclusive offering. Aprilia is limiting the production of the RSV4 X EX3MA to just 30 units worldwide. Apart from its hefty asking price, the RSV4 x EX3MA also gets a lot of fancy hardware.
The bodywork is the first giveaway that this isn’t your regular RSV4. The X EX3MA is the first production motorcycle to sport ground-effective aerodynamics. The said feature has so far been used by the Italian bike maker’s MotoGP bike, the RS-GP. It gets stepped fairing and cornering winglets inspired by the RS-GP race bike. The said appendages are said to generate five times the downforce compared to the RSV4 X Trenta.
The Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA also uses a spoon wing under the swingarm and cornering ABS to reduce the wheelies. The entire bodywork is made of carbon fibre by Pan Compositi using the same process as the Aprilia RS GP bike.
Powering this bike is a 1,099cc liquid-cooled 65-degree V4 engine and it belts out 230bhp and 131Nm. The RSV4 X EX3MA gets an SBK tune, a higher compression ratio, a racing air filter and a full-system SC-Project titanium exhaust setup. Not to mention, taming the said 230 horses is the elite suite of electronics that comprises wheelie control, traction control, engine braking, and a Yashi laptop setup to tweak the ECU.
It rides on Ohlins USD front forks with an FKR pressurized cartridge and a TTX shock. The brakes on the other hand comprise Brembo GP4 MS Monoblock calipers. These are mounted on 17-inch carbon fibre wheels wrapped in 125/70 front and 200/65 rear tyres.
Aprilia is also offering a bevvy of other parts like carbon fibre fenders, engine cases, engraved triple clamp, adjustable footpegs, clutch and brake levers, and billet aluminium fuel caps.
Interested buyers can place their order for the Aprilia RSV4 x EX3MA on the brand’s website with the deliveries slated for Q2 2025 including an option to receive the bike at the Aprilia Racing facility in Noale, Italy.
