Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta has unveiled the limited-edition Superveloce Alpine. This limited-edition middleweight supersport product is inspired by the Alpine’s A110 and the company will only make 110 units of the vehicle. Priced at 36,300 Euro (Rs 32.55 lakh), this special-edition model was co-developed by MV Agusta and Alpine.
The blue livery on the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine matches that of the Alpine A110. The motorcycle boasts features such as Alcantara seats with blue stitching, leather strap on the fuel tank, and CNC-machined black rims. The limited-edition model also gets the Italian and French flags. Buyers will get a racing kit that will comprise of Arrow exhaust system (track-only), control unit with a dedicated map, CNC fuel cap, rear seat cover, customised bike cover, and a certificate of origin.
Components such as chain cover, air duct covers, mudguards and lower fairing are made from carbon fibre. The Bluetooth-enabled, five-inch TFT display works with MV Ride App.
The mechanical specifications on the Superveloce Alpine include a 798cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is derived from the F3 800 and tuned to deliver 145bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm at 10,100rpm. With the racing kit, the maximum power output figure is rated at 151bhp at 13,250rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a slipper clutch function and a bi-directional quickshifter. The maximum speed is rated at 240kmph.
The hardware on the motorcycle comprises of Marzocchi upside-down front forks and a Sachs rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup includes twin 320mm discs at the front and a single 220mm rotor at the back – both grabbed by Brembo-sourced callipers. Similar to all MV Agusta models, this limited-edition motorcycle will be backed by a three-year warranty.
