German custom workshop Mansory has created a limited-edition Vespa Elettrica christened the ‘Monaco Edition.’ Limited to just 99 units, this Vespa incorporates a host of exclusive elements including carbon fiber components.
Mansory is using the Monaco name after over a decade. It was last given to a custom Ferrari 458 which was limited to just 3 units. What makes the name iconic is the rich motorsport history associated with the place Monaco. Interestingly, the Vespa Elettrica is the first-ever electric vehicle to be customised by Mansory.
The changes to this custom Vespa Elettrica over the standard trim are mostly visual. It is draped in a black and grey colour scheme which is accentuated by the red and white colours of the Monaco flag on select body panels. Plus, some of the parts, including mudguard and side panels, are made up of carbon fiber and a leather cross-stitched seat blends with the overall colour scheme of the scooter. It is also adorned with plenty of Mansory logos all around.
In terms of technical specifications, the Vespa Elettrica Monaco Edition remains the same as the standard model. It rides on a 4.3kWh lithium-ion battery which powers a brushless DC motor with 3.6kW continuous power and 4kW peak power. It comes with two riding modes including eco and power which deliver a range of around 100kms and 70kms, respectively. The top speed of the scooter is rated at 70kmph in eco and 45kmph in power mode.
