LML Star Euro 150cc scooter launched in India at Rs 54,014

                 

Lohia Motors Limited (LML), one of the oldest two-wheeler makers in India, has launched the Star Euro 150cc scooter at Rs 54,014 (ex-showroom Gujarat). The Uttar Pradesh-based manufacturer claims it is the first scooter in India with a full metal body. 

The Star Euro scooter is powered by a single-cylinder air-cooled mill that produces 9.38bhp at 8,000rpm and gets a continuous variable transmission (CVT). This engine helps the bike deliver a fuel efficiency of 55kmpl and can do a maximum speed of 90 kmph. 

The scooter gets drum brakes at the front and rear but there is an option for a  front disc variant . This variant is priced at Rs 57,918 (ex-showroom Gujarat).The scooter features an engine kill switch and a speedometer with economy and power modes. It features a  glove compartment which gives  more than a decent amount of space to store the rider’s valuables. 

The Star Euro 150 is available in seven colours, including some multi-colours which looks overdone. Currently, there are no official details from the company as where all they plan to sell this scooter other than Gujarat,  but we expect the scooter to be seen in few more states in coming months.
