Lohia Auto has launched yet another electric scooter for the Indian market. Called the Oma Star, this electric scooter is mainly focused at comfort and city performance.
Priced at Rs 40,850 (on-road Delhi), the Oma Star electric scooter has a range of 60km before it needs charging. It takes around six to eight hours to fully charge this electric vehicle. This scooter can attain a top speed of 25kmph, which is quite decent only for city use. The company claims that with the Oma Star, there will be very low running costs and maintenance.
The Oma Star gets a 250 watt electric motor along with a 20 AH battery, which is maintenance free. Just like the other scooters in its line-up, the Oma Star also gets alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, wide seat and a decent looking instrument cluster. Lohia is offering this scooter in four colours – red, white, black and grey.
